Volunteering
Becoming a volunteer for DXTL
- You must have a valid CRB check and child protection certificate; a first aid certificate is not essential but will be of use.
- You must never get involved in confrontations and be prepared to walk away from trouble if it comes your way.
- Be responsible and monitor the match. Remember to fill in a monitoring form, recording any incidents that take place at junior football games throughout the week at a league near you.
- Have a friendly and outgoing personality at all times and be able to work with others as a team member.
- To be able to follow instructions easily with a pleasant manner.
- To be able to have an understanding of and the ability to work with children.
- To work closely with league committees, authorities and referees.
- To abide by the rules & codes of conduct set out by DXTL.
- To have and understanding of the game and rules.
- Always make your presence known to a league official or member.
As a volunteer you get:
